Sam Wack

Sandra ‘Sam’ Wack has served as the Director of Music since 2016.  Prior to that, she worked in CCC’s music program for over 20 years, including serving as the Assistant Director of Music. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Maryland, but decided to pursue a music career after her children were grown.  An accomplished pianist and director, Sam works primarily with the Chancel Choir to sustain CCC’s excellent music program. She served as the Accompanist/Assistant Director on four of the Chancel Choir’s European tours.  Sam has also served as Music Director for CCC’s production of Godspell. Of the many duties Sam performs as Director of Music, her love is conducting.  Her spirit is fed by the connection she feels with God as she shapes and blends the voices and instruments in harmony.  

Sam regularly accompanies for local schools and students, and she also has a piano studio of over 50 students. Sam grew up in Reading, PA and started her music career at age four with lessons on accordion, which she now plays in CCC’s Acoustic Band Players. Her other passions include spending time with family and her dogs Sadie & Phin, hiking, attending craft fairs, and gardening.
