Celebrate Christmas with CCC!

Christ Congregational Church (CCC) is warmly inviting members of the community to join them for their special Christmas services this year:  

• Sunday, December 22 at 10:30am – Christmas Music Sunday Service featuring the Chancel Choir, along with a Brass Ensemble, Organ and Percussion, performing John Rutter’s Gloria. Other pieces include O Come All Ye Faithful, Once in Royal David’s City and Joy to the World. All ages are welcome; childcare available in the Nursery for Ages 5 and Younger. Cookie Sale Fundraiser to benefit our youth group after worship.

• Tuesday, December 24 at 5:00pm – Christmas Eve Family Worship Service featuring the Intergenerational Orchestra, as well as a participatory re-enactment of the Nativity story. All babies and children are welcome to attend! No rehearsal needed. Children of all ages, including visiting children and neighbors, are welcome to borrow nativity costumes. Costumes for animals, shepherds, angels, and magi will be ready to pick up prior to the service. Come choose from the collection or the children may wear what they have at home and be a part of the Christmas story!

• Tuesday, December 24 at 9:00pm – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: This Lessons and Carols service will feature the Chancel Choir, performing Stopford’s There is No Rose, The Little Road to Bethlehem, African Noel, Willan’s Hodie, Christus Natus Est and In the Bleak Midwinter. Several well-known carols will also be sung, accompanied by CCC’s Advanced Orchestra. No Childcare; all are welcome to attend! There will be a reception following the service.  All are welcome to attend!
